Comparing and Choosing Between Supplier Matches

If your request results in more than one supplier match, here's how to think about comparing them.

Start with fit, not just price

Check that each supplier can actually meet your core requirements — certifications, packaging format, and volume — before comparing on price. A cheaper option that can't meet a hard requirement isn't really an option.

Certifications shown as context

Where certification information (including kosher status) is available, we show it to help you compare. If a certification isn't listed for a supplier, it usually means that information hasn't been recorded yet — not that the supplier doesn't hold it. Ask if it matters for your decision.

Counter-offers

If a supplier proposes different terms than your original request (see 'What Happens After a Supplier Responds'), weigh whether those terms still work for you — sometimes a counter-offer on lead time or MOQ is a small trade-off for the right product.

Next steps once you've chosen

Let our team know which supplier(s) you'd like to move forward with — we'll help coordinate samples, pricing discussions, and introductions. There's no obligation at this stage; it's the start of a direct conversation between you and the supplier.

Asking for more options

If none of the initial matches are quite right, get in touch — we can revisit your request as new suppliers join our database or refine the search based on your feedback.
